International Registration Data Identifier (IRDI)

Globally unique identifiers for every Structure element  included in a (6.2) (ccmgr user) Dictionary.
This IRDI (International Registration Data Identifier) is based on the international standards ISO/IEC 11179-6, ISO 29002 and ISO 6532. ISO 29002 is an interoperability standard, which provides a repository to be used in various ISO XML formats, as for example in ontoML

Structure of IRDI

It consists of several parts:

• Registration Authority Identifier (RAI), composed of

  • An International Code Designator (ICD) according to ISO 6523-1, followed by

  • an Organization Identifier (OI) 

• A Code Space Identifier (CSI) that identifies the type of object (e.g. 01 for Class, 02 for Property etc.)

• Version Identifier

International Code Designator (ICD)

globally identifies the encoding Organization as the publishing organization (ECLASS: 0173, other registered organizations include ISO (0112), ODETTE (0177), SIEMENS (0175), GTIN (0160), Paradine (0175)

 Organization Identifier (OI)

identifies the object within the space of the International code designator, ie. issued by the as the publishing organization

The original definition is made in ISO 29002-5 clause 8. Paradine extensions start with the letter Z

Concept Code

(6-digit identifier, e.g. AAA123) - see Code Generation

Version identifier

(e.g. 001 for the first version of an object)
