Attributes of Property
Every property has attributes like a unique identifier (IRDI), a preferred name, a definition and a value format - among other attributes according to the IEC 61360 data model.
Since the processing of properties is done in the software, the properties description is mapped to a machine-processable data model defined in the IEC 61360 standard.
The structure elements of this data model are called attributes. Attributes are features that represent the essential aspects for understanding the meaning of a property.
Consistency Rules
Each Property has an associated Data Type .
If the Property has a numeric Data Type and is used for measuring, the Property must additionally have a Unit of Measure.
