The workflow describes the process of COMPARING two or more properties.
Users having at least Dictionary Manager Viewer role may compare 2 or more properties.
Step 1: Retrieve Properties to be compared
As first step, Dictionary Manager Viewer needs to retrieve the properties to be compared. In the Browse Property dialog, several search options are available (search by ID, search by preferred name etc).
Step 2: Select Properties to be compared
After Properties to be compared have been retrieved, Dictionary Manager Viewer needs to select them and press Compare button.
Step 3: Apply Filters
In the Compare Property dialog, apply template in order to filter Attributes of Properties by Equal Values or Empty Values.
Step 4: Hide Lines with Equal Value
In the Compare Property dialog, uncheck box "Equal values". Lines with equal values will not be displayed anymore.
Step 5: Hide Lines with Empty Value
In the Compare Property dialog, uncheck box "Empty values". Lines with empty value will not be displayed anymore.
Step 5: Remove Property to be compared
In the Compare Property dialog, remove the property that is not needed for compare using the trash can icon.
Step 6: Define Active and Disabled Properties Attributes
In the Compare Property dialog Dictionary Manager Viewer can activate or disable attributes of the properties to be compared by pressing the Settings button next to the Equal Values or Empty Values checkboxes.
Via drag and drop the attributes can be set to active or disable. Decision can be done on the ongoing properties selection or it can be saved per system.
